Please begin the process of getting permit from the city to do this in the time-frame and route mentioned. But please move the date to either saturday July 14th or July 21st.
People wont be able to come tommorow so this must be done July 14th or July 21. Also, the rally should not be about just the July bulletin. It should be about backlogs and numerical caps as the root cause of this mess.
But do get city permit for around 100 people (that's what I expect will show up in Bay area based on past experience with Gutierrez rally).
Let's get some attention from CEOs of Oracle, Cisco, Sun and Google and also some attention from Rep. Zoe Lofgren and Nancy Pelosi. There is NO better place than Bay area to do this, especially San Jose.

Agreed. $5000 is about the same amount a single student paid to TVU, the diploma mill. This used to be the price 1 employee paid a fraud DCC for processing a Green card.

What is the difference between the two? IMO, two words "Effective Marketing". Come on, where are the MBA's among us who can offer strategy? Actually I feel we are so backward that we don't even need MBA's to improve from here, just any simple ideas

Based on a quick scan of the above documents (which may not be a complete list of documents on AOS), I did not find a single reference to LAW that specifies when AOSs can (not) be submittted by GC applicants. My guess is that there is no such law That is why AILA is calling it rubbish.
I urge everyone to scan these (and othet documents) for LAW that specifies when AOSs can (not) be submittted by GC applicants.

I've no problems you or anybody else challenging me--we're all (mostly) scientists/engineers here, so making assumptions based on observations, and challenging them, should be the first step toward creating a hypothesis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_method). But science seeks evidence for those assumptions. Staying clear of traps like fallacies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallacy) should help.

Everybody has been waiting for his/her green card and congratulations to all those who has got their GC. On the other hand it is really unfair and to some extent unethical on the part of USICS not follow a fair system.
There are several people in 2004, 2005 who have been paitently waiting for their turn only to see that people behind them getting approved.
Several of us have writtent to Ombudsman, Director but of no avail.
Not sure what else can be done? Any Idea? Do we have any liaison with AILA who can take up this matter.
Didn't someone took up the EB3->EB2 porting issue already; can't this issue be clubed along with it? ek teer se do shikar!!

Did anyone receive card mailed e-mail/status update? I saw one member receive that.
I am not sure if the card mailed email is the guaranteed way of figuring out if your card is on it's way...Some people have received their cards after receiving CPO email only...
I am still waiting for my cards. Let's keep the hope alive:)

Last Friday I called Customer Service Center and told them that I did not get FP and Biometrics .I used the words that I was depressed ,worried and all others who applied after me got FP but I did not get it ,my son going to be 21etc .......Finally Male IO scheduled FP immediately for me and my family on May 16.I saw LUD on Friday itself and another Lud on sunday ,today I got the letter.

After CPO e-mail, card arrives within 10 days.
Chain of events are not consistent but usually at 1or 2 days interval, approval and welcome e-mails are seen as hard LUDs.
I-797 notice of approval is enough to go to district office and have I-551 stamp in passport. This is the proof of GC.
Enjoy, do not worry and relax!
Remember your family, friends and IV.
Please be generous in contributing (my continued participation, advisement and $$$$.....).

Looks like the EAD CPO email is based on the category EB3 or EB2.I have seen EB2 people that applied at the same time as a EB3 and the EB2 folks are getting approvals.
I have applied on Jul 10th and there is nothing for me.I have see atleast 4-5 people who have filed at the same time as me or even after me and got approvals.
Is the EAD renewal also driven by
1) Labor PD
2) The fact that you are current or not as per current bulletin.
