Can you all please try to contact USCIS/DOS/local congressman/woman with your request
for EB Spillover visa usage based on the oldest Priority date? If you have already done it please do it again, if not, please do it. Let us try our best to see something can favor us to see our green card atleast this year.

Exactly... there is no such thing as LOW HANGING BALLS.... they shuld be fair to everyone... this is just a case of discrimination... first make all these useless categoreis... This thread is very interesting. Ppl are coming up with various hypothesis to get their own GC fast. Come on folks, the GC system was good when it was devised in 1990. It is just that the system never kept up with the changing times. The inflows to the GC system kept changing (more H1's, L1's....) but the outflow (visa numbers) are still fixed, and hence there is too much overflow and choking in the system. Isn't it time for us to unite and stand as a single voice and work towards removing the bottleneck (visa numbers).
It is easy to say on forum how USCIS should work, but in reality can it work. For example Just try to convince U'r colleague (sitting in u'r adjacent cubicle) or even U'r boss how to perform his/her work. Then see how the response is. If we (IV members) aren't aligning on basic issue and solution, how much credibility would we be having to go and ask USCIS how they should run their office.
Come on folks, be realistic. We all know a legislative fix is the only way to solve the current front-log so why can't we organize at various levels (county, state, national) and work towards such a legislative fix. The key to that is to get active in U'r state chapters and do grass-root level work towards a legislative fix.
If the system is streamlined the out of order processing worst case might be in weeks (can we not tolerate that) compared to yrs now...
INSTEAD OF SAYING IV SHOULD DO THIS OR THIS etc.... WHY DOESN'T ANYONE SAY THAT I/WE WILL DO THIS SO THAT IV CAN ACCOMPLISH say TASK x

Where the hell all these guys when EB3 is getting 80K to 100K of total 140K visas all these years and EB2 is getting just merely 10%-15%. Nobody from EB2 didn't felt jealous like this before. It is hard to digest for them now.
So what were your expectations from EB3-I in those past years .... to fight for EB2-I and write to USCIS saying please don,t issue GC's to us but instead use those Visas and issue it our EB2 - mates.

When some one decides to apply AC21 by having an offer from another employer, it is not clear if one is required to inform USCIS about it. Some say one should, others say, not required. Has anyone seen any USCIS position on it? If not, perhaps we should make this as a question for next Ombudsman's conference call.
Good suggestion for bringing this to Ombudsman. BUt anyway informing USCIS would be the wise step in a sense you will not invite unforseen problems may be associated with not informing.

Dear admins,
I think deleting my post was not fair. The other people who have been bashing us with MS degrees need to also have their posts deleted.
I was not offensive in anyway, I just pointed out the reality of the situation and that is not "being offensive."
If you are afraid of alienating some of your contributors, well then by deleting the posts of ppl with Masters degrees you risk alienating them.
If I offended the admin personally if he/she does not have a masters degree, I apologize for hurting your "feelings" but that does not allow you to delete my post .
Finally, since 99% of the time the admins come back with not relevant to the thread, I agree on that ground but respectfully request the deletion of posts by a bunch of others like the "hiring manager" who instigated this discussion.
