I see a soft LUD dated 08/21/2010 on my 485 and existing approved EAD on my portfolio. What doz this mean? Any ideas? Anybody?
My wife got a soft LUD on 8/21. She has PD of Dec 2005 EB2 (I). It looks like some got the soft LUD on their 485 but their EAD was in process and same is the case wiht my wife. She applied for EAD renewal last month.

So you mean - I and ajaykk will get the EADs within next 10 days even if our applications haven't been looked at yet? Did this happen to you. I am not too much bothered about this at this point as I am working on H1. But just thought would reply to ajaykk since we had similar experience.

Wait for a couple of more weeks-- It is on the way. Don't go by the dates USCIS posted. They apparently don't correctly reflect the actual.
i sent application for me and my wife on july 6th NSC my I 140 was applied in TSC . i am NJ resident. wife took info pass appointmnet as no check cashed, no notice receive. started worrying now. as NSC is updating even new applications no sure if my case was transferred to TSC or not . any body in same boat ? application was signed by R williams in NSC.

EB2-India with May 2005 PD and before : All will be out before May 2010 with some residuals in NC. One thing I am sure, EB2/3-India with PD 2006 and afterwards should not start working on EAD and will have to hold on to H1.
PDs with 2006 and onwards - both for EB2/3 - Unpredictable and scary assuming no change in current immigration policies.

Should we do call the sponsor of this act? The dream act supporters list the senators that are on the fence, and urge them to call and I think we need to start call the main players like Reid, Schumer, Menendez to get them behind our provisions. I have been waiting for the FP in the hope that they will be issuing it soon, its already Feb and I have not received it yet. Im the only one who has not recieved the notice yet in my friends circle, I have opened an SR last week. Mine is TSC application. Are there any TSC guys yet to receive the FP notices. Overall are there a significant number of people still waiting or is it just a few of us

How does a (I485) spouse doesnt have EAD and AP on hand (even if not using it and in H4/L2 etc)?
Wont they have problem when the dates become current and GC is issued to primary.

1) EB2 with PD like 2007 and 2008 will certainly oppose. It is understandable. But why many EB3 folks themselves oppose it? Because they are with "looser mentality". EB3 folks, listen! No body cares about you. Then why do you care about other categories. Don't be a looser. Take care of your problem first.
2) The lawyer was suggesting us to convert to EB2. You bet. Dont you know why?
Most of the EB2 got their GC. The only loosers are EB3. With IV's reach it can easily help EB3. I told this many times before. But IV core is saying it will be very hard to even do a simplest releif measure. I simply do not understand. I hope and pray IV core will listen this time.
I suggest you drop out of EB2, and learn some English spellings before coming here and chiding people. Get lost!

This is a law violation and I have URL for it. In fact, the law also says that there is a 10% quota for each month.
As I have posted earlier there are other issues. Thus, this is another issue and not the whole issue.
Pursuing this issue and violations of name checking does not get us much. They can cancel some GCs issued but still not accept July AOSs.
We need to concentrate on issues that support accepting July AOSs.
